Today I found out about Course Report, which has program summaries and student interviews from every developer bootcamp I’ve looked at, and dozens more.
So I’ll be over there for a minute today, doing some digging. One of the DBC grads interviewed mentioned that more experience with programming might be a good idea for Dev Bootcamp applicants unsure whether they have a deep passion for programming. I feel pretty passionate, but I’m inexperienced. We’ll see what we can do about that as I continue to tackle prep materials and dig into the research.
The good news is that I hadn’t thought to ask the grads I’ll be talking to whether they noticed a similar “prior experience = likelihood of success” trend in their cohorts. Now I have thought that thing. Thanks, Course Report!
(I wasn’t paid to write any of this stuff. I just like the resource.)
